Jalonca's production plant is in Calamocha, a city in the province
of Teruel (Spain). The municipality of Calamocha, with roughly
4500 inhabitants, is located 450 km from Barcelona and 320 km
from Madrid. It is known for having a dry climate with long and
cold winters; thus, making it ideal for the slow curing process
of Jalonca ham. Jalonca takes advantage of the long-standing cured
ham tradition in Teruel province by always respecting the artisan
process and popular tradition.
Jalonca's offices and central warehouses are located in Barcelona,
a European city with an advantageous geographical location and
headquarters of large multinational corporations. It is from here
where the rest of the departments in the company are managed.
