The pig breeds accepted by D.O. Teruel are a cross between the Landrace breed (standard type) and the Large White for the sow and Duroc for the barrow.


These breeds allow us to obtain haunches with a dietetic quality with low levels of cholesterol (high levels of unsaturated fat and low levels of saturated fats).
